Hey.

I was six and you were nine, we're the closest friends anybody could find.
You are all to me, and i was all to you.
And when mommy tried to pull me away when it gets dark, i cried out loud for you to come with me, but instead your daddy did the same thing.

When tomorrow came i had a plan. We'll run to the woods and be mom and dad. Just you and me, it's a secret you see.
We laughed till we cried, you could see those happy tears in each of our eyes. It's so contenting, with you by my side.

And when mommy found out we were fooling around, she got so mad she almost fell to the ground. We laughed again, though we know it's wrong to do that.

Sixteen years later, we were all big and strong.
But we're still the same old kids, we played like nothing's wrong.
And our mommies laughed. But our daddies wasn't glad.
